The Australian Ballet

The Australian Ballet has now been performing its celebrated works for over 40 years and for over 20 of these, Telstra has been right there. Our sponsorship ensures the continued vibrancy of this art form in Australia, encouraging new dancers and bringing the grace and beauty of ballet to audiences Australia wide.

Our involvement with The Australian Ballet is one of the longest running arts sponsorships in the country. Together we have worked to ensure that ballet becomes more and more accessible to audiences across the country through sponsorship of the regional touring programs, international touring programs and free events such as the annual Telstra free outdoor performance.

Telstra also supports the development of ballet with the annual Telstra Ballet Dancer Award, the most prestigious award for dancers in Australia, now in its sixth year and receiving enormous support from the dance community and the general public.
